Traditionally a Taekwondo or Karate technique, the Hook Kick is a tricky strike the has serious knockout potential. Furthermore, I find myself always landing this kick in #sparring, since the trajectory of the kick naturally bypasses the guard. And for those of you who don’t have the flexibility for this kick, I share a variation called: the inside-to-outside crescent kick.
DISCLAIMER: DO NOT USE THIS KICK IN SPARRING IF YOU CAN’T THROW IT WITH TOTAL CONTROL! DON’T HURT YOUR TRAINING PARTERS!
